Sept. 26, 2026 — Jefferson’s East Falls campus came alive as the Office of Student Engagement (OSE) hosted its annual Homecoming and Family Day. The weekend brought together members of the extended Jefferson community, including academic leaders, TJU alumni and the parents and families of current students. With a focus on community and a spotlight on Phil the Ram, the celebration was packed with school spirit, community connection and various forms of entertainment.

The festivities kicked off bright and early with a QR code scavenger hunt across campus, offered alongside a morning brunch buffet hosted at Ravenhill Dining Hall. While the “Dine with the Deans” event boasted leaders of our academic community, exclusive alumni donors were spotlighted. The morning events offered a warm and welcoming environment for students, alumni and families to unite in a collaborative setting.

As the day went on, PhilFest became the lively heart of the celebration. With an estimated 300 people present, festivities began on the Ravenhill side of the campus, featuring food, yard games, photo booths, bingo, button-making, caricature artists and a “Stuff a Ram” station. Although both the women’s and men’s soccer matches against Bridgeport were canceled, the athletic energy remained high with a women’s volleyball game at noon.

For attendees of legal drinking age, the Ramily Beer Garden offered a relaxed social gathering space from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., featuring cider, wine, beer and food options.

As the afternoon wound down, the energy shifted toward the Student Organization and Greek Life Meetup from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Attendees repped their clubs and wore their letters proudly as the band Aquarius Drive delivered a live performance, alongside prominent representation from campus Greek organizations such as Delta Phi Epsilon, Theta Phi Alpha and Sigma Nu. The unforgettable day ultimately drew its curtain with a packed, high-stakes trivia night.
